American jazz musician Herb Alpert, who with The Tijuana Brass performed the theme for 1967 spoof version of Casino Royale, was born on 31st March 1935 in Los Angeles. He also performed a trumpet solo on the title song of Never Say Never Again, sung by his wife, Lani Hall.

 

Ken Hughs was one of several directors on the 1967 spoof version of Casino Royale. Hughs also co-wrote and directed of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. He was born in Liverpool on 19th January 1922.
